The Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic offers different treatment plans, which plan is best suited to assist my fertility?

This question is best answered on an individual basis and it will be discussed with all fertility patients during their initial consultation at the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic.

The answer will depend on why you require IVF treatment and on your energetic imbalance according to Traditional Chinese Medical theory. As you will appreciate, there are numerous reasons why somebody will seek IVF treatment, and there are multiple Chinese medicine diagnoses for infertility. So, together there are a large number of possible combinations of medical science and Chinese medicine diagnoses. Dr Wilson will take all these variables into consideration and customise an IVF acupuncture treatment protocol for each patient.

After your initial consultation at the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic, please consider the advice you are given. Unfortunately, we have IVF patients who think they know best and they want to pick and choose how and when they receive their IVF acupuncture treatments. At the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic great pride is taken in the integrity in which we handle each infertility case. If you are advised to take a certain course for acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine treatment, please remember, it is solely for your benefit.

If you have already started your IVF cycle, do not worry. You can still benefit from acupuncture. On the day of your transfer we can administer acupuncture immediately before and immediately after your transfer at the IVF clinic. To find out more information about acupuncture on the day of IVF transfer consult the FAQ “Do the acupuncture treatments before and after transfer really make a difference?”.
