Can I get treatment at the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic despite the fact I have been receiving acupuncture from another practitioner?

As a general rule of thumb, the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic advises you to stick to a practitioner once you have commenced an IVF cycle. Commonly, an acupuncturist will devise a customised treatment plan which will be administered throughout the IVF cycle. It may therefore be not in your best interest to change acupuncturists during the course of your IVF cycle.

We strongly encourage everybody who is considering receiving acupuncture treatments to make sure the acupuncturist they choose makes a commitment to be available for the necessary treatments. Dr Kirk Wilson from the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic guarantees he will be available on transfer day for those who begin acupuncture treatment from the start of their IVF cycle. Dr Wilson upholds this commitment no matter what day of the week the transfer may fall.

If you have a situation when your acupuncturist can no longer provide treatment, phone the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic and we will see what we can do for you. We strongly suggest before entering into treatment, you ask your acupuncturist if they guarantee to open their clinic on a week end or if they will come into work early to facilitate the IVF acupuncture treatment protocol. If not, we advise you find an acupuncturist more committed to your treatment.

In the past Dr Wilson has received many requests for acupuncture treatments for transfer day on Sundays. Please be aware, at the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic Dr Wilson will not open on Sundays unless you have commenced treatment from him since the start of the IVF cycle in question.
